Dance Branding 101: Essential Tools and Strategies (2024) ft. Ashley David

Kia ora! That's a common greeting from the Maori language. I thought it would be appropriate for this blog post because it features my friend from New Zealand, Ashley David!

I was recently in New Zealand for my honeymoon, where Ashley and her husband Gordon graciously hosted us on our last day on the island before flying back to the states. I've known Ashley since college where we were both dance majors at the University of Maryland College Park (go Terps! 🐢)

Since graduating college Ashley has gone on to combine her love of dance and communications (she was a dance and comms double major) to work with numerous dance organizations both in the US and New Zealand! So of course I HAD to ask her to sit down for a quick conversation around dance marketing and branding. We talk about what branding looks like for solo artists, social media, chat GPT and more!
